The Ministry

The orphanage: A facility with 7 rooms and a kitchen is home to 12 orphans (six older orphans and six younger ones- ranging from age 5 to 25). These children can all either be classified as “biological,” “social,” or “economic” orphans, and therefore each have varying reasons why one or more of their parents is not alive, available, and/or able to care for them. The orphanage's funding is totally dependent on the Lord, who provides for all the children's daily needs- many times through love gifts from His people.   

Other Ministries: Care for the Elderly, Church Planting, and Teaching (at both a Bible School dedicated to leadership training, and at a Public School where many poor children from the Muslim and Hindu communities receive a basic education).

About Pastor Toshi Jamir and the founding of the Ministry

“My Name is Imsu Toshi Jamir. Throughout my Christian ministry in different capacity beginning from 1982-2001, I deeply sensed the need of a ministry to help orphans and elderly people. In 1982, while I was still in high school standard, my heart sympathized with poor and needy, because I grew up with almost nothing, economically speaking, in the family. I went through what it is to be needy and poor myself. Whenever I saw or met these people my heart beat within me. It was a heart & soul longing to help such people since then. I have prayed many times during those days asking the Lord to lead me to help such people.  In 2002 while I was pasturing in a Church, the Lord gave a chance to begin this ministry.”

Our Staff
CNM has an executive board comprised of four voting members. It also has five full time workers and two part time workers, including Pastor Toshi Jamir. Three of these workers are paid staff. Four of the staff work in the orphanage, and help with teaching at the Bible School and Church Planting, and three are involved in the Elderly Home. “… Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:38
